Jenn’s love of healthy cooking comes from years of trial and error after ditching processed foods in favour of home cooking. She is a proud advocator of the paleo diet after it transformed her life, and has been teaching everything she's learned in cooking classes for almost 10 years.

She's now back offering virtual Zoom cooking demonstration classes where participants can simply watch and learn OR cook alongside Jenn!

Ever felt intimidated by preparing a traditional turkey dinner? Feel the intimidation disappear with this
demonstration class by Jenn Bruer. Learn the basics of a traditional turkey dinner.

 

We’ll start with prepping an
oven roasted turkey breast; from scratch cranberry sauce; from scratch stuffing done in the oven; green beans
in a creamy mushroom gravy, and easy creamy mashed potatoes.

Get ready to impress your friends; up your appetizer game with this class! Book
Jenn Bruer to demonstrates some crowd-pleasing appetizers.

 

We’ll start with Mini Holiday Cheese Balls with Balsamic
Drizzle; Mediterranean Cucumber Boats; Baked Brie with Maple and Spiced Pecans; and finally, Bacon
Wrapped Dates.

Batch Cooking Meals on a Budget

Want to make some meals that are inexpensive, easy to prepare, and healthy? Look no further with this batch cooking class.

 

We will start with Mexican chili (make it as spicy or as mild as you want!), then we will prepare an easy vegetable fried rice, a fast and quick chickpea stew, and for dessert we will make a no fuss raspberry crumble.

An Introduction to the Paleo Lifestyle

Have you ever wondered what a paleo diet tastes like? Wonder no more! In this offering, Jenn will demonstrate a typical evening of healthy paleo foods.

 

Starting with honey-mustard chicken thighs,
followed by sweet-potato hash, accompanied by a mixed-green salad with a honey-mustard dressing.

For dessert we will enjoy fried bananas with a sprinkle of cinnamon and a drizzle of maple syrup.

An Evening of Keto

Have you ever wondered what keto meals taste like? In this class Jenn demonstrates a typical Keto meal, with foods that won’t taste like diet food.

 

We will start with Jenn’s egg-roll-in-a-bowl recipe, followed by sesame-fried green beans, accompanied by mashed rutabaga with chives. For dessert we will
taste coconut-cream strawberry parfait topped with toasted coconut and chopped cashews.

Low-Calorie Cooking Made Easy

Want to lower your caloric intake but not sure where to begin? Look no further! Jenn will
demonstrate low-calorie turkey chili, spring salad with a low-calorie vinaigrette dressing, followed by a lowcalorie mango sorbet for dessert.

Charm your loved ones with hints of ginger, lime and sesame. We will begin with Thai-inspired grilled
chicken, with a sweet-and-savory Thai Crunch salad topped with sliced almonds and mango, and for dessert
we will enjoy Thai mango sticky-rice.

Do you have friends or family following a gluten-free diet? Now you can surprise them with some new gluten-free dessert ideas.

 

We will start by making a banana chocolate-chip loaf, then we will make gluten free oatmeal cookies with raisins, followed by mango-cream parfait topped with toasted coconut and raspberries.

exploration beyond the proverbial white mushroom with Jenn.

In this class Jenn will demonstrate Wild Rice and Gourmet Mushroom Pilaf; Sourdough with Melted Gouda over Caramelized Onion and Portobello Mushroom with Balsamic Reduction Drizzle; for dessert Refreshing No-Bake Pineapple Pie.

An Evening of Low-Carb Inspired Cuisine

Book Jenn for an evening of Low Carb-inspired dishes. This tasty line-up includes Jenn’s signature recipe, soft and doughy low carb sandwich buns and then we will turn them into tuna melts; and for dessert Lemon Coconut Custard Pie.

Enjoy great tasting food without compromising your waistline, you won’t even realise its “diet” food.

Autoimmune Protocol (AIP)

Book Jenn for this class based on the teachings of Sarah Ballentyne (AKA the Paleo Mom). The AIP is a food-based approach specifically geared toward assisting those afflicted with autoimmune conditions.

Starting with Sweet Potato Chicken Bites dipped in creamy Lemon Herb Coconut Yogurt dip; and delightful Cherry Crisp topped with honey sweetened Coconut Cream.

Ever wonder what foods to bring to those suffering with a cold or flu? Wonder no more.

Book Jenn for this class to learn about the basics of “bone broth” the latest super-food trend; we’ll enjoy a spiced-up Chicken Soup with healing foods like ginger, turmeric, and garlic; a traditional Ayurvedic dish called “Kitchari” which is said to be healing for the digestion and the gut, this dish is made with split mung beans and basmati rice.
